Meet .Nick + .Bec

Hi, I’m Nick.

I am a coach, it’s what I do. It is my craft, my passion and my profession. I have committed over the past two decades to honing my skills, qualifications, deepening my experience and enhancing my ability to deliver the very best coaching outcomes for my clients.

My professional purpose is clear; to be there with my clients when it matters. When they start a new role, seek to strengthen a culture or team, or striving to achieve extraordinary impact and outcomes. It is coaching for and with a purpose and I love nothing more than to see my clients achieve.

Throughout my professional career I’ve held leadership roles in Local Government, International Research, Banking & Finance and Education, always with a heavy emphasis on people, culture and leadership.

My life has provided me with a fortunate unique breadth of global, industry and business experience. I am as comfortable in a corporate board room as I am in rural Africa. I have spent many years adapting my approach to suit the people I am working with, responding to their needs and in their context.

Most commonly I find myself supporting leaders through transformation or transition. These often require leaders and their teams to develop greater clarity and focus, strengthen connections and learn to be more agile, adaptive and resilient.

My clients tell me they value my deep understanding of leadership and culture theory coupled with decades of practical hands on experience and that I genuinely care about them and what they are trying to achieve.

Hey, I’m Bec.

I began my career as a Registered Nurse with experience in both public and private hospitals. After completing further studies I attained my Critical Care certificate and secured leadership roles in Intensive Care, Coronary Care and High Dependency units. I have also worked as a rehabilitation consultant supporting the return to work arrangements for injured workers mediating between employers, health professionals and the injured worker.

 I have played a key role in facilitating our leadership forums and major fundraising events in support of our projects in Africa, Afghanistan, Cambodia, India and Australia. As client liaison I am the key contact for new and existing clients and suppliers, managing enquiries, scheduling of bookings, accounts and event co-ordination. I love the challenge of finding creative solutions to problems, anticipating the needs of others and going above and beyond in delivering an exceptional client experience. I truly value the opportunity I have to combine profession and purpose.

  • Hello, I’m Mike.

    I am driven by a passionate belief in Developing People and Legacy and the fact that you cannot have one without the other.

    I have over 30 years in senior executive and leadership roles across the Public and Private sector in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory. Most recently as Chief Executive Officer Department of Local Government & Community Services, Office of Aboriginal Affairs (NT) and Chief Executive Officer Townsville City Council.

    These roles have afforded me the opportunity to develop my experience across a broad range of Industry sectors including Retail, Infrastructure, Property, Major Events such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Local and State Government. Including extensive experience in organisational reform, strategic, corporate and operational planning, construction & infrastructure and service delivery across urban, regional and remote communities.

    During my career I found that my greatest pleasure came from developing teams, organisational culture, and preparing them to achieve group and individual success whilst instilling the importance of values such as Integrity, Resilience and Caring for each other, their community and Stakeholders. I firmly believe that these factors define your Legacy.

  • Hi, I'm Tom

    I have a passion for healthy (performing and achieving, fun, safe) organisations and teams that are created upon a basis of individual (and then collective) well-being and success. This is what gets me out of bed in the mornings.

    I have 20 years of experience in leading teams of all shapes and sizes from the workshop floor to large professional divisions such as Gippsland Health Services, Bendigo Bank to Office of the Chief Executive Officer for Cardinia Shire Council and their Executive Team.

    Being the founder, designer and facilitator of The Leadership Conservatory - a 12-month leadership development program - created a space for leaders to slow down, focus and equip people with the skills and knowledge that will see them thrive in today’s world. Understanding one’s Self, Team and Organisational leadership components is key and fundamental for great leaders to know themselves, before they can lead their teams and influence their organisations successfully.

    My private (legal/consulting) and public experience with senior roles in water, health, local and state government, together with my Masters in organisational leadership, is instrumental in how I am known as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues.

    My work philosophy and focus is all about integrity - doing what you say you will do when you say you will, celebrating your success, owning your mistakes and learning from them while acting honestly.

    Personally, I enjoy spending quality time with family and the people I love. My health and well being - to be physically, mentally and emotionally well, I believe allows us a way to do the things we want to do. Learning, reading, meeting people is a growth and evolving mindset that enables me to build strong, valuable relationships.

  • Hi, I'm Rosie

    My professional purpose is to listen, coach and facilitate positive change. To help people realise and tap their own or their groups potential is what motivates me!

    I’ve had a lifelong interest in the human brain, behaviours and emotions which led me to study Psychology as an undergrad. I worked for 25 years across Philanthropy, Business Development and Community Engagement roles, as well as running my own retail business. More recently I have worked at Monash and Swinburne Universities in Career Development Education and privately as a consultant Career Coach. My professional roles have all relied on my ability to forge strong relationships, bring the best out in others, communicate comfortably with a wide range of people, and be both strategic and creative.

    I am constantly learning and in the last decade have studied career development, facilitation, counselling, brain based coaching and contemporary leadership. I have been trusted now to coach hundreds of individuals, as well as some groups, looking to shift or change their careers, improve their performance, develop new leadership skills, and increase their work satisfaction. My coaching and facilitation style draws on neuroscience and improving the quality of thinking or group thinking to make positive changes.

    I am known for my warmth, honesty, and friendliness. When I am not working you will find me busy with family stuff, in my garden, in nature with the dogs, learning/reading or maybe zoning out in front of a screen somewhere! I believe that from little things big things grow and look forward to meeting you soon.

  • Hey, I'm Christine

    They say a brand is not what you say it is - it’s what they, out there, say it is! So when it comes to branding - you, your business or your organisation - you can rest assured that I can help enlighten and innovate who you are, what you do, and why it matters.

    My relationships are fundamental to how I run See Design (my boutique design studio), and so is my alignment and collaboration with Petruc.co. Our connection cultivates a living, growing, and giving brand and I’m so grateful to be apart of such a like-minded collective.

    I have been the principal designer and marketer for over 20 years and have developed my own Brand Coaching program and modules, that help one learn and grow their personal brand and communicate their leadership style. I am all about pursuing your passions, defining who you are and enjoy investing in yourself and your ideas. I’m also along with the ride in bringing all those concepts and ideas to life!

    Coaching and designing for clients both large and small (both locally and internationally), has given me clarity and confidence in understanding what turns their interests into purposeful, worthy, and successful assets. Ensuring your message has meaning and why you do what you do matters. I am known to bring energy, positivity, and visual insights to workshops and ensure that branding is the process that connects great strategy with great creativity.

    In my spare time, I’ve turned my love of design and hand scripting into an online store called Bespoke2.com. I’m a lover of truth, growth and giving and enjoy sponsoring key fundraising community events that engage with people who inspire the world through greater good causes. I’m passionate about all things of faith, family, fun and food - and yes a great tiramisu will get my attention :)

  • Hello, I'm Cindy

    I’ve dedicated over 30 years to fostering positive change through strategic decision-making and community engagement. My journey began in local government, where I honed my skills as a senior leader in consultation, research, and operational planning.

    Now, as the founder of Stubbs Consulting for the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of clients, including local and state government organisations, as well as non-profits, guiding them through challenges and opportunities.

    The collaborative process is what truly excites me, and I have been fortunate to work with Nick and Bec since 2012 on a vast array of successful projects. Whether it’s co-designing consultation strategies or crafting future-focused plans, I find joy in navigating the complexities of strategic decision-making. By integrating insights from engagement initiatives with robust research, I ensure that each client receives tailored solutions that align with their unique needs and aspirations.

    Integrity is at the core of everything I do. I’m often commended by colleagues and clients alike for my timely reliability and dedication, knowing they can trust me to deliver results with professionalism and excellence, regardless of the circumstances.

    Outside of work, I truly find solace in life’s simple pleasures. Spending quality time with my family, gardening, experimenting with new and old recipes in the kitchen, and immersing myself in nature are some of the things that keep me grounded and energised.
